SEN Teacher
Academics is seeking a dedicated SEN Primary Teacher to join a supportive specialist school in Worthing. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners with special educational needs (SEN) by providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities-
Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet individual student needs.

Support students with Autism, ADHD, and other SEN in their academic and personal development.

Create a structured, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.

Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and parents to provide tailored support.

Implement EHCP (Education, Health, and Care Plan) targets and track progress.

Use positive behaviour strategies to encourage confidence and independence.

QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.

Experience teaching primary-aged children with SEN (preferred but not essential).

A patient, adaptable, and compassionate approach.

Strong differentiation and behaviour management skills.
-
Full UK driving licence (school is not easily accessible by public transport).

Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
