My client prides themselves on delivering top-notch service and maintenance for light commercial vehicles. Their team is dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. They are currently seeking a skilled and motivated LCV Technician to join their dynamic team.

Job Description

As an LCV Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of light commercial vehicles. Your expertise will ensure that our clients' vehicles are safe, reliable, and operating at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on light commercial vehicles.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and identify potential problems.
  • Replace or repair faulty parts and components.
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an LCV Technician or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of light commercial vehicle systems and components.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary £42,000 to £45,000 and performance-based bonuses.
  • 22 days annual holiday plus bank holidays
  • Profit Based bonus of £1,000 to £2000 per year
  • Overtime available as part of their callout team with excellent earning potential
  • Monday to Friday 06:30 to 16:00 with 1 in 4 Saturdays 07:00 to 12:00 paid at time and a third.
