Our clients are looking for an experienced Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the planning and execution of mechanical projects across two chemical manufacturing sites. You will be tasked with generating proposals, setting project goals in collaboration with senior management, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget. Additionally, you will be responsible for recommending necessary changes, managing risks, and keeping stakeholders informed on progress.

This role is ideal for a highly organised individual with a minimum of five years' experience in mechanical project management. You should have strong technical skills in mechanical design, particularly related to equipment such as agitators, reactors, and pumps. The ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment is essential, along with excellent communication skills. This position would suit someone with experience in the chemical industry, particularly those familiar with COMAH sites and agitated semi-batch reactors.

  • Manage all phases of engineering projects, including design, procurement, planning, and evaluation.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including budget, timelines, and resources.
  • Create engineering designs and equipment specifications to address specific issues.
  • Identify and manage risks, liaising with external contractors where necessary.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Salary
