As a technician, your roles and responsibilities will include: -
- Supporting the Senior Technical / Engineering team in the delivery of test equipment builds including mechanical, electrical, and electronic test equipment to agree work plans or verbally for simple tasks.
- Supporting the Senior Technical / Engineering team in the operation, maintenance and control of the test facility equipment and bespoke test equipment setups as part of a team.
- Delivery of wider flexible support to the Senior Technical and Engineering teams, including collection of materials, performing wider company activities to the R&D department when required and supporting post-test dismantling via work instructions.
- Simple processing of data from tests using standard tools such as excel and uploading for customer reviews.
- Performing of logistic delivery and dispatch support including usage of forklift and other lifting equipment. Training to be provided if required.
- Supporting the wider operations of the business through working at customer sites when required in a professional and proactive manner.
- Active participation in customer tests and engineering activities as a member of the engineering team.
