Cleaning Operative

Your new role In your new role as a cleaning operative, you will be carrying out general cleaning duties in the staff areas of HMP Eastwood Park. Duties include:

• Vacuuming
• Mopping
• Emptying bins
• Cleaning surfaces etc.

Shift pattern (Full-time, 39 hours):

• Monday - Thursday, 7.30am-4pm, Friday 7.30am-3pm.

Your hourly rates are as follows:Standard: £12.06 p/ hour, plus holiday pay.What you'll need to succeedExperience would be beneficial. A good understanding of chemical colour coding. You will need to have strong communication skills, be hard-working, and practical. In order to be successful, you'll also need to pass a security clearance procedure due to the nature of the role and provide 2 satisfactory employment references.There is free parking on site. However, there are no public transport links to the site, so it is required for you to have your own mode of transport.What you'll get in returnYou will receive on the job, paid training.
