Import Operator Overview:

We are on the lookout for a meticulous and proactive Import Operator to join our vibrant team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient and compliant handling of import operations, across deep sea and air freight consignments, contributing to the seamless delivery of our services.

Import Operator Key Responsibilities:

  • Start to finish import operations for sea and air freight from initial documentation to final delivery, ensuring precision and care.
  • Customs Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs regulations and ensure all import activities comply with legal requirements.
  • Client and Supplier Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, suppliers, and agents, providing updates and resolving queries to maintain strong relationships.
  • Documentation Management: Prepare and review import documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to import shipments promptly, minimising delays and maintaining client satisfaction.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all import transactions for auditing and reporting purposes.
