Exciting Opportunity for a Project Manager – Yorkshire-based Civil Engineering Contractor

Our client, a renowned and well-established regional principal civil engineering contractor based in Yorkshire, is expanding its team and offering an exciting permanent role for a Project Manager due to significant growth and a strong pipeline of works.

What We’re Looking For: We’re seeking either:

• An experienced Agent ready to take the next step in their career, or
• A Project Manager looking for a fresh challenge with genuine career progression opportunities.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Experience working with a principal contractor.
• Qualifications: SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid certification, and ideally HND or higher in civil engineering or construction.
• Strong leadership: Experience managing both direct and subcontract teams.
• Technical know-how: Basic understanding of NEC contracts, technical drawings, and planning software (MS Project, P6, or Asta not essential)
• Excellent organisational skills: Proficiency in MS Office, keeping site diaries, and managing RAMS\ Risk\Method Statements, tool box talks, and other key documentation.

Your Role: As Project Manager, you will either:

• Oversee one large project from start to finish with regular client interaction, or
• Manage multiple smaller projects running concurrently.
