Main Duties of the Finance Officer

  • Maintain product costing in the company's ERP system by reviewing material masters, bills of material, and moving average prices.
  • Analyse and investigate material cost variances by utilizing the ERP system and collaborating with the Engineering and Production departments.
  • Calculate and upload product overhead costs.
  • Perform costing for new products and revisions to existing products using the standard costing model.
  • Prepare monthly sales and production reports.
  • Conduct expense analysis and reporting.
  • Perform monthly inventory revaluations.
  • Track and reconcile material movements and disposals.
  • Compile and submit data to the Head Office reporting system.
  • Support the half-yearly budget planning process.
  • Manage the processing and record-keeping of expenditure approvals.
  • Assist with company stock takes, month-end closings, audits, and data submissions for National Statistics and Head Office.
  • Provide support for month-end financial reporting and offer holiday coverage when needed.



Finance Officer requirements:

  • Strong Excel skills, with the ability to manipulate and summarise data from an ERP system.
  • Certified to at least AAT Level 2
  • Background in manufacturing would be useful but not essential.
  • SAP experience would be advantageous.
