If you've got well-rounded experience in accounts, bookkeeping, and handling purchase/sales ledgers, this role could be perfect for you. The Job
  • Handling queries related to purchase/sales ledgers youre the go-to for answers!
  • Reconciling supplier statements and payments keeping everything in check.
  • Making sure those bank balances reconcile perfectly.
  • Helping out with transactional processing (think raising invoices, posting, and a bit of credit control).
  • Processing weekly external payroll payments and journals.
  • Preparing monthly and annual ledger reconciliations like a pro.
  • Managing inter-company journals and recharges.
  • Allocating expenses and handling company credit cards.
  • While this covers most of it, this description isnt set in stone! You may be asked to take on other reasonable duties as needed.
The You
  • Previous experience in a similar accounting role if youve done it, they want to hear about it!
  • Ideally, youre AAT qualified.
  • Familiarity with Sage 50 would be a plus.
  • Any construction industry experience? Even better!
  • Experience in an SME would be super helpful.
  • Great interpersonal skills teamwork makes the dream work!
  • Adaptable, a great problem solver, and always up for a challenge.
