The Job
- Handling queries related to purchase/sales ledgers youre the go-to for answers!
- Reconciling supplier statements and payments keeping everything in check.
- Making sure those bank balances reconcile perfectly.
- Helping out with transactional processing (think raising invoices, posting, and a bit of credit control).
- Processing weekly external payroll payments and journals.
- Preparing monthly and annual ledger reconciliations like a pro.
- Managing inter-company journals and recharges.
- Allocating expenses and handling company credit cards.
- While this covers most of it, this description isnt set in stone! You may be asked to take on other reasonable duties as needed.
- Previous experience in a similar accounting role if youve done it, they want to hear about it!
- Ideally, youre AAT qualified.
- Familiarity with Sage 50 would be a plus.
- Any construction industry experience? Even better!
- Experience in an SME would be super helpful.
