You're a Design Engineer looking to work on market leading industrial equipment. Based in Wrexham, you'll be working on our automated production line equipment, and be involved in both the design and production phase of the projects. BASIC SALARY: Up to £40,000

JOB DESCRIPTION: Design Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer / CAD / Print / Automation

As a Design Engineer, you'll be involved in designing our line equipment and fixtures in our UK and International facilities. You'll be involved from the design stage, right through to the build and implementation stages, so you can see your designs come to life.

You'll be using SOLIDWORKS to develop designs. You'll also maintain detailed documents of designs, modifications and project progress.

In this role you'll be:
· Testing and validating your designs to ensure sound performance
· Involved in the build stage of the process, keeping your hands-on skills well polished
· Providing support for modifications and design changes at build and commissioning stage

PERSON SPECIFICATION: Design Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer / CAD / Print / Automation

You'll have completed your degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or similar and have an interest in mechanical assembly design. You'll have experience working on 3D CAD, ideally with SOLIDWORKS, designing machinery with the likes of pneumatics and motors. You'll be hands on during the build phase.
