Our client in Wrexham has an excellent opportunity for a Production Operative to join their team. This role involves operating various types of machinery across different areas of the factory, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate factory machinery in line with standard procedures and production schedules.
- Conduct quality checks and maintain accurate records to ensure product compliance.
- Carry out routine maintenance and troubleshoot any mechanical issues to reduce downtime.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and product quality.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety guidelines.
- Provide flexible support across the factory, covering for breaks, absences, and other areas when needed.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Production Efficiency: Achieving output targets within set timeframes.
- Quality Standards: Ensuring products meet specifications and minimising defects.
- Machine Utilisation: Reducing downtime and optimising operational performance.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is beneficial.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and machine operation.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to complete repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy.
- Good manual dexterity and adherence to safety and operational procedures.
