Role Overview:
The company is seeking a dynamic Business Development Executive to join their team in a hybrid role based in Wrexham. The BDE will play a crucial role in driving business growth by identifying new market opportunities, optimising existing revenue streams, and developing strategic partnerships. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, product development, and customer success, to create data-driven strategies that enhance customer acquisition and retention.
This position suits a proactive and analytical thinker with strong sales skills who can translate corporate business dynamics and market trends into actionable strategies for revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Cold Calling: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Sales Prospecting: Hunt for new clients and manage the full sales cycle.
- Event Networking: Attend industry events to network and promote the company's offerings.
- Negotiation & Presentation: Lead client negotiations and deliver compelling sales presentations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (marketing, finance, product development, customer success) to ensure alignment on strategies.
- Target Achievement: Meet or exceed sales targets consistently.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, solution consulting, or account management.
- Strong sales prospecting and negotiation skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- A natural salesperson with a hunter mentality and a proactive approach to generating leads.
- Tech-savvy with experience in selling HR tech (desirable).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
