Search are currently recruiting for a number of HGV Class 1 drivers to work on behalf of our prestigious client based in Wrexham. This is a 24/7 operation with days, nights and tramping shifts available.
Pay rates PAYE
* 15.00/h days
* 16.00/h nights
* 18.00/h Saturday
* 19.00/h Sunday
Pay rates PAYE (inc. holiday pay):
* 16.81/h days
* 17.93/h nights
* 20.17/h Saturday
* 21.29/h Sunday
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate Class 1 vehicles.
* Conduct depot deliveries and collections, ensuring timely and efficient service.
* Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transport.
* Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members.
* Assist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary.
Requirements:
* Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving license, CPC, Tacho card. Held for at least 12 months
* Experience in general haulage
* A clean driving record with no major endorsements.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
