Assistant Team Manager, £36ph, Front Door Children’s Services, WrexhamPertemps are recruiting for a qualified and experienced Assistant Team Manager to join the Front Door of Wrexham’s Children’s Services, the Single Point of Access (SPOA).SPOA acts as the first point of contact, receiving requests for information, advice and assistance to support children and families and also to investigate safeguarding concerns. SPOA brings key professionals together to facilitate early information sharing to support families and safeguard children. This is achieved by collating information from different agencies to inform interventions to achieve the best outcomes for children. An Assistant Team Manager in SPOA will predominantly be managing the inbox, making decisions on referrals in terms of the local authority’s initial response, they will be supporting and supervising social workers, reviewing cases and making decisions whether allocation is needed and attending meetings including Strategy Discussions and Strategy Meetings. Knowledge of the law in Wales including Section 5 is essential.
