Mechanical Project Engineer
I am currently working alongside a leading civilengineering contractor who are looking to hire an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer due to a number of new clean water contracts being awarded. My client operates across the water and wastewater sector.
Mechanical Project Engineer Responsibilities:
- Working alongside the project management team.
- Overseeing mechanical aspects of projects from start to finish.
- Ensuring health and safety compliance.
- Managing the full lifecycle of mechanical systems, including design, construction, and commissioning.
- Coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Maintaining project documentation and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Delivering projects on time, within budget, and to specification.
Mechanical Project Engineer Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK.
- Relevant industry qualifications such as HNC, Degree, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
- Possess a valid CSCS/ECS/SKILLcard or equivalent certification.
- Certification in SMSTS and First Aid at Work (mandatory).
- Proven experience in delivering water and wastewater projects, including mechanical installations.
- Strong understanding of Health and Safety regulations.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project or Primavera.
