Proactive Personnel are thrilled to be working with a well-known, thriving aerospace component manufacturer in Wrexham to recruit for a CNC Machinist to join their well-established team on a full time, permanent basis.

Job Details -
- 24/7 shift pattern working 12 hour shifts across both days and nights (7-7)
- £17.38ph basic rate, plus 18% shift allowance based on 37 hours + 5 hours overtime paid at time and a half. Totalling to roughly £46k per annum.
CNC Machinist Duties -
- Setting and operating machines working with aluminium and alli-lith materials to match customer specification creating aerospace components.
- Working to detailed drawings and layouts.
- Reporting all component and machine non-conformances.
- Calibrating measuring equipment.
- Complying with relevant HSE legislation and company policies.
CNC Machinist Requirements -
- NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering - CNC Machining or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 years experience working on 3 and 5 axis machines.
- The ability to identify components and select the correct tooling/jigging process.
- Experience working to detailed drawings.
- SAP/MRP experience would be beneficial but not essential.
- Crane/FLT licences would be advantageous.
