The Role

To oversee engineering projects from conception to completion. This role involves managing resources, timelines, and budgets to ensure project success. The Engineering Project Manager must coordinate with various teams, including engineering, procurement, technical and production, to deliver high-quality results. Effective communication, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of engineering principles are crucial for this position.

  • Plan, execute, and finalise engineering projects according to strict deadlines and within budget
  • Coordinate and manage project team members, both internal and external
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients and stakeholders
  • Manage project budgets, including tracking costs and minimizing expenses
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyse the successful completion of short and long-term goals
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, documentation, and presentations
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
