Contracts Manager/Project ManagerLocation: Wrexham£50K - £55K + car allowance, BenefitsFull-Time, Permanent position

We are working with a leading Property Services and Construction Contractor to recruit a Contracts Manager to join their team, delivering Retrofit works to residential properties in Wrexham.

You will be responsible for the delivery of retrofit schemes to PAS and TrustMark standards, working collaboratively with clients and colleagues to ensure a cohesive and holistic approach is taken to planned works programmes, maximising efficiency, value for money and customer satisfaction.

As a Contracts Manager, you will oversee a range of retrofit projects comprising of works such as; wall and loft installation, window and door replacements, ventilation and draughtproofing, low/no carbon heating, lighting and energy installations. With 5 direct reports and 20+ indirect reports, you will be the clients' main point of contact and ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget, to specification and to the highest possible quality.

We are looking for somebody with experience of Residential Refurbishments, ideally within the Social Housing sector. Retrofit knowledge and experience would also be beneficial.

Essential/Desirable Criteria:

  • You will be a natural leader, able to effectively manage and motivate a team, and will have strong communication skills
  • You will have previous experience of a similar role.
  • You will have experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management and be able to multi-task, prioritise and work to strict deadlines.
  • Ideally, you will have knowledge of PAS 2030/2035 and CDM, as well as other Health & Safety regulations.
