We are working with a global technology provider specialising in automation for highly regulated and advanced manufacturingindustries. They are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team and contribute to innovative robotic solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and test robotic applications within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Create mechanical designs and bills of materials using SolidWorks.
  • Ensure designs meet safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage procurement.
  • Support sales teams with innovative solutions.

Essential Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Significant experience in machinery/laboratory equipment design and SolidWorks.
  • Familiarity with 6-axis robots, pneumatics, and machinery regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving and team collaboration skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience with ATEX systems and component handling.
  • Knowledge of servo/stepper motors and modular frameworks.
