Tradewind Recruitment are seeking enthusiastic teaching assistants who are flexible and dedicated to supporting students with a range of needs.

Your role will include:

  • Supporting individual students on a 1-1 basis helping them both in the classroom and socially.
  • Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and help make resources and learning accessible.
  • Working closely with students promoting positive behaviour.
  • Providing a safe, encouraging and nurturing learning environment.

You will need:

  • Experience of working with children with SEND/ALN either in a school or similar setting
  • Patience and Empathy
  • The ability to think on your feet and be adaptable
  • A Level 2 teaching certificate - desirable
  • An enhanced child only DBS and EWC - essential
