Are you passionate about supporting students? Do you want to work 1:1 with students with SEND and ALN? Have you got experience working with children who have Autism, ADHD or SEMH?

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking enthusiastic teaching assistants who are flexible and dedicated to supporting students across a range of schools with varying needs.

Your role will include:

  • Supporting individual students on a 1-1 or small group basis helping them both in the classroom and socially.
  • Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and help make resources and learning accessible.
  • Working closely with students promoting positive behaviour.
  • Provide a safe, encouraging and nurturing learning environment.

You will need:

  • Experience of working with children - essential
  • A good level of Maths and English - essential
  • An enhanced child only DBS and EWC - essential
  • Experience working with SEND/ALN either in a school or similar setting - desirable
  • A Level 2 teaching certificate - desirable
  • Patience, Empathy, Adaptable.
