Tradewind are seeking recent Graduates who are passionate about improving the lives and education of children aged 5-16. The role will involve working with pupils on a 121 or Small Group basis in supportive and inclusive Primary and Secondary Schools across Wrexham.

To be successful when applying for the role you will need to demonstrate a good understanding of Primary or Secondary Education and preferably have past experience supporting children including those with SEND (in or out of school environments).

Excellent communication skills and a passion for impacting the lives of young people are also essential for this role!

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting class teachers in delivering lessons and providing individual assistance to pupils including those with SEND, EAL and IEPs.
  • Offering tailored, one-on-one or small group support to children.
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress in line with their individual learning plans.
  • Assisting with the implementation and updates of Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs).

Candidates will need to either provide or be able to acquire the following documents to be considered for the role:

  • Right to Work in the UK
  • An Enhanced child only DBS
  • An EWC
  • OPC (if applicable)
  • CV, covering last 10 years of employment (minimum).
  • A degree in any subject area
  • Two professional or academic references.
