An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Support Engineer - Engineering based in Wrexham.

The Technical Support Engineer - Engineering based in Wrexham requires a detailed understanding of wireless, networking, system troubleshooting, test and measurement principles and the processes of asset condition assessment. Training and formal education will be provided on an ongoing basis.

The Technical Support Engineer - Engineering, in Wales main responsibilities:

  • Customer support via telephone, email and other communication methods.
  • Support participation in international trade shows, exhibitions and industry events by technical demos (as required)
  • Logging and clustering of support tickets to ensure solution improvement and bug fixes
  • General department duties e.G. Monthly report, visit reports and expenses, department/workshop tidying.
  • CRM system (C4C) input and maintenance

Technical Skills/Knowledge/Qualifications:

  • Some technical qualifications in areas like site electrical work, IIOT implementation, Networking, Deployment of wired and wireless monitoring
  • Ability to learn complex technical skills quickly with an emphasis on IT and technology elements
  • Some experience using an online support ticketing system and feedback of engineering improvements to a development Team would be beneficial
