Join our Team as Event Staff!

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused individuals to join our event staff team at a key community event in Cefn Mawr, Wrexham. As an Event Staff member, you will be the main point of contact for visitors and play a vital role in ensuring the event runs smoothly. This is an exciting opportunity for those who enjoy engaging with the public and working in a lively, outdoor environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visitor Interaction: Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, providing excellent customer service.
  • Event Support: Distribute event programmes, offer information about scheduled activities, and guide visitors to key areas.
  • Audience Management: Take surveys, monitor audience sizes, and help maintain order and safety at key event points.
  • Safety & Emergency Response: Ensure safety protocols are followed, report hazards, and respond to emergencies by contacting appropriate services when necessary.
  • Crowd Control: Ensure that event attendees adhere to guidelines, including following designated routes and preventing overcrowding.
  • Team Collaboration: Work in pairs with another team member throughout the day. Breaks and lunch will be covered to ensure continuous staffing.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Follow the Serious Incident Action Plan and report any concerns immediately to the event leader.
  • Adhere to Policies: Follow all guidelines outlined in the event briefing, including Canal and River Trust policies and procedures.
