Salary: £27,000 -£28,500 DOE
Russell Taylor Group are looking to recruit several Extrusion Operators to join our client in Llay.
The successful candidate will work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (12-hour shifts, alternating days and nights).
The Role:
- Operating extrusion machines to produce various products.
- Monitoring the extrusion process to ensure smooth operation, adjusting as needed.
- Ensuring products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Performing regular checks on the machines to detect any mechanical issues and notifying maintenance teams if necessary.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Recording production data, including output rates and any machine issues.
- Collaborating with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
- Adhering to health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
The candidate:
- No extrusion experience required as full training is provided
- Previous production experience in a heavy manufacturing environment is essential
- A strong willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to quality and safety standards.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment
- Flexible to work both day and night shift
