Junior Finance Manager/Assistant

Location:Wrexham
Employment Type:Full-Time, 37.5 Hour Week (8:30 - 17:00)
Salary + Benefits: £35,000 - £37,000

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Finance Assistant to join our clients well-established finance team based in Wrexham. This position is ideal for individuals looking to kick-start their career in finance. The Junior Finance Assistant will support the finance department in various tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations. The successful candidate will bestrong minded, detail-orientatedand have the ability towork in a fast paced environment.

Duties

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Support the processing of invoices, payments, and receipts; including monthly VAT reconciliation
  • Monitor Management Accounts and Company KPI's.
  • Respond to internal inquiries in the group
  • Control and monitor company expenses

Qualifications

  • AAT Qualified Preferred
  • Experience in Intercompany accounts preferred.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Sage Experience Advantageous but not essential as all training will be provided.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop within the role.
  • Previous experience in a finance-related position
