Description

As the HR Manager, you will manager all Employee Relations Case work; Assess training needs and create and implement appropriate training programmes, Manage all Employee Engagement initiates; Manage the site on-boarding process; induction, new starter documentation such as Contracts of Employment, references, and obtaining copies of any relevant training documents. Liaise with payroll to set up relevant payments; Oversee and manage salary benchmarking; Ensure annual Appraisals are carried out; Manage employee sick absence, ensuring return to work interviews are conducted. Monitor long term absence and involve the Occupational Health team when necessary; Promote employee well-being through initiatives to engage employees; Manage the WorkDay HR platform ensuring records are kept up to date.

Profile

The successful candidate will be a confident communicator with excellent verbal and written skills; Pro-active with organisation and planning skills; The ability to influence and motivate peers & external stakeholders; A Strategic thinker with good decision making skills, with a flexible approach to working practices. You will also be CIPD qualified, ideally with a Manufacturing background (min 3 years), strong up to date knowledge and understanding of UK employment law

Job Offer

Competitive Salary of £.38,000- £40,000, depending on experience with excellent benefits. A chance to work Part Time with flexible hours (20 hours per week)
