This Part Time HR Manager role is a key position within a thriving FMCG company based in Wrexham. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of human resources tasks, with a focus on achieving both individual and team goals.

Our established FMCG client employs over 1000 people across various locations. They are known for their high-quality, innovative products and commitment to employee growth and wellbeing.

Description

As the Part-Time HR Manager, up will be the sole representative for HR on site but be part of the wider HR team across the UK. Your main responsibilities and duties will be:

  • Providing first line advice to all employees and share best practice.
  • Manage employee relations casework; disciplinaries, grievances, dismissals, and any other employee disputes.
  • Oversee and manage the People Performance Management tool and ensure Managers are adequately trained.
  • Assess the results of annual Employee Engagement survey and implement initiatives to improvement engagement.
  • Oversee and manage salary benchmarking.
  • Assess training needs and ensure agreed actions are implemented following Appraisals.
  • Liaise with recruitment agencies, prepare job adverts, job descriptions, advertising, and interviewing. Ensure the appropriate right to work checks are carried out to ensure legal compliance.
  • Conduct exit interviews, and arrange Settlement Agreements where necessary.
  • Manage the site on-boarding process;
  • Manage employee sickness absence, ensuring return to work interviews are conducted. Monitor long- term absence and involve the Occupational Health team when necessary. Promote employee well-being through initiatives to engage employees.

Profile

The successful Part- Time HR Manager should have:

  • CIPD qualification
  • Manufacturing background (min 3 years)
  • Up to date knowledge and understanding of UK employment law
  • Knowledge of Right to Work Home Office requirements
  • MS Office; word, excel, powerpoint
  • Knowledge of HR databases
  • Discrimination Equality, Diversity & Inclusion
  • Strong relationship building skills
