Your new role
Based in Wrexham, my client is looking for a Transport Coordinator with past experience delivering unmatched customer and administrative support within Logistics and Supply-Chain. The role will include management of Transport orders and Warehouse schedules with coordinating deliveries and updating the internal system/s to align data. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Booking Transport for orders with external partner/s
- Co-ordinating collections and deliveries with external supplier/s
- Co-ordinating delivery information and align with our internal system/s
- Share daily / Weekly Schedule updates to Warehouse/s and actively monitor any changes, keeping all parties informed.
- Uploading documents relating to Transport orders into our system
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain management, as well as a minimum 2 years work experience in Transport or Multi-temp Logistics.
- Candidates should be familiar with requirements around import / export and transit documents. Understanding of logistics software as well as SAGE
- Understanding of Customs processes for intercontinental trade and geographical knowledge of Europe and UK
