gap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for a Maintenance Engineer (Multi-skilled - Electrical Bias) to work at their facility based near Wrexham

Performance Objectives

To follow and adhere to planned maintenance programs
Fault find and repair equipment to a satisfactory standard
Undertake any machine adjustments within your capabilities
Use company equipment (manual, electrical or mechanical) in a safe manner
To give training to other engineers within your expertise to increase their knowledge and understanding on equipment setup and fault finding
Provide training to Production employees within your expertise to increase their knowledge and understanding on equipment setup and fault finding
Maintain effective and appropriate communication with your colleagues at all times
Keep the Engineering Manager informed of any problems encountered with any process or equipment issues you are dealing with
Assist in relevant projects and machine modification as and when required
Undertake training offered by the company relevant to your position or for the good of the company
Ensure an effective shift handover is undertaken with the oncoming shift and work is logged according to workshop requirement

Person Specification

To have completed a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent
Be qualified to BTEC or equivalent NVQ in Electrical engineering
Hold 17th edition IEE Electrical Regulations Certificate
Computer literate or be prepared to train to a satisfactory level
