We are seeking a Payroll Officer to join a dynamic and growing organisation in Wrexham. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations.

Location: Wrexham, North Wales (Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite)

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

  • Monday to Thursday: 9am - 5pm (30 min lunch)
  • Friday: 8am - 4pm (30 min lunch)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll, including wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
  • Coordinate payroll information from various departments.
  • Oversee payroll approval and release processes.
  • Maintain accurate employee payroll records, including hours worked, pay rates, and tax details.
  • Ensure compliance with all payroll laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies or issues.
  • Provide payroll-related guidance to employees and management.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports to relevant stakeholders.

About You:

  • Previous experience in payroll processing is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent mathematical and data entry skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
