About the Role:Wrexham Council is seeking an experienced Policy and Project Officer to join their team on a temporary basis. This critical role will support the commissioning and contracting of statutory and third-sector social care provision across Wrexham.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting a suite of strategy and policy documents informed by research, national policy, and guidance.
- Engaging with stakeholders and social care teams to shape the department's strategic direction.
- Addressing resource and capacity needs within the team to ensure the successful delivery of objectives.
About You:The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in policy and strategy development within the social care or public sector.
- Strong research and drafting skills.
- The ability to engage effectively with stakeholders to influence strategic outcomes.
