Are you a dedicated, inspiring Primary teacher seeking flexibility and a work-life balance through a supply teaching role?
We're looking for experienced supply teachers who are enthusiastic, qualified professionals experienced in primary education and passionate about making a difference in primary schools in Wrexham.
In this role, you'll provide essential support by covering staff absences, with weekly shifts that vary based on need. While no minimum hours are guaranteed, longer-term opportunities may arise. Flexibility is key, as you may be asked to work with different year groups across the school, depending on your skills and experience.
Responsibilities of a Primary Teacher:
- Deliver and provide opportunities for students to learn and express themselves.
- Ensure that students are engaged, motivated and on task.
- Manage any behaviour issues that may arise.
- Follow school policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress.
Requirements of a Primary Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to manage behaviour effectively
- A positive attitude and a willingness to collaborate
- Flexibility and adaptability
Requirements to work in Schools:
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, but if you do not have one, you can apply for a new one through Tradewind Recruitment.
- You must register with the EWC (Education Workforce Council) to work in Wales.
