Kenton Black are working with a Pharmaceutical Manufacturer who are seeking a dedicated and meticulous QC Analyst to join their dynamic team in Wrexham. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of their products by conducting routine analyses, adhering to strict methodologies, and maintaining accurate records. The role requires an individual who is detail-oriented with a strong scientific background and a commitment to excellence.Responsibilities of a Quality Control Analyst:- Perform analytical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure they meet predetermined quality standards.- Utilise various analytical techniques and instruments, such as HPLC, GC, IR, UV, and wet chemistry methods.- Prepare samples and reagents for testing, following standard operating procedures (SOPs).- Document results accurately in the laboratory information management system (LIMS) and maintain detailed records of all analyses performed.- Work closely with the manufacturing and research & development teams to troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.- Adhere to all safety and regulatory requirements, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Health & Safety regulations.QC Analyst's are required to have the following: - Degree in chemistry, biology, or related scientific field.- Proven experience in a quality control laboratory setting, preferably within the pharmaceutical.- Strong understanding of analytical methodologies and quality control processes.- Familiarity with GMP and other regulatory guidelines.Benefits:- Competitive salary and benefits package.- Career development opportunities in a growing company.- Generous pension scheme- Salary sacrifice schemes- Sports and social clubIf you meet the qualifications and are passionate about quality control, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity to contribute to the high standards of their products and services.
