Job Title: Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor



Role Overview

As a Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for overseeing all commercial aspects of the projects, ensuring cost efficiency and financial control while maintaining high-quality standards. You will work closely with the project teams, subcontractors, and clients to deliver successful outcomes.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the commercial function for two residential developments (housing & flats).

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.

  • Manage procurement processes, including subcontractor and supplier negotiations.

  • Assess and manage project risks, ensuring cost control measures are in place.

  • Handle contract administration, variations, and claims management.

  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any financial concerns.

  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project success.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.



Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor in residential construction.

  • Strong knowledge of housing and apartment construction methods and costs.

  • Experience in cost planning, procurement, and financial reporting.

  • Proficiency in contract administration, including JCT & NEC contracts.

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (RICS qualification preferred).
