Tradewind are recruiting for a supply teacher to work in Secondary Schools across Wrexham.

As a Secondary School Supply Teacher, it will be varied and at times challenging, but highly rewarding.

If you have experience working with children, had led group activities, are an experienced Secondary teacher or an ECT looking to explore schools and gain experience we'd love to hear from you!

As a Secondary School Supply Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver the pre-set work across KS3-KS4 lessons.
  • Work across various subjects supporting students with varying abilities.
  • Promote a positive classroom environment, following the school's behaviour policy and rewarding students using the school's achievement system.
  • Follow the school's safeguarding policy, reporting any issues or concerns appropriately to the DSL.
  • Communicate with staff and build positive relationships students.

Requirements to be a Secondary School Supply Teacher:

  • An enhanced child only DBS, which is on the update service.
  • Registered with the EWC (Education Workforce Council) to work in schools in Wales.
  • Eligible to work in the UK - we cannot offer sponsorship.
