About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Textiles Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality textiles education to students, fostering creativity, and encouraging a love for textiles and fashion design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging textiles lessons to students of varying abilities.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that meets educational standards and inspires students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events related to textiles and fashion.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in Textiles, Fashion Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching textiles at the secondary school level.
- Strong knowledge of textiles techniques, materials, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
