Job Title: Experienced Teaching Assistants/Learning Support Assistant
Location: Wrexham, North Wales
Type of School: Secondary
Hours: Full or Part time (Mon - Friday)
Pay: Up to £100 a day - experience depending
Tradewind are seeking experienced and passionate teaching Assistants to provide day-to-day support in secondary schools across Wrexham. We work with a variety of schools of varying sizes and needs.
Have you worked with children?
Have you got experience working within a school?
Are you patient and able to support students with ALN/SEND?
Can you help the class teacher manage behaviour effectively and follow school polices?
Are you looking for flexible hours and shifts?
Have you got an enhanced DBS and EWC Registration?

Role & Responsibilities:
- Help teachers deliver KS3 and KS4 in line with the National Curriculum.
- Supervise and support learners in classrooms, group settings and one to one.
- Support children with additional needs - ALN/SEND and EAL.
- Work collaboratively and creatively with parents, colleagues, and support services.
- Demonstrate outstanding classroom practice and have young learners at the heart of all they do.
- Assist with support strategies to meet individual learner needs.
- Ability to deliver education and support through the medium of Welsh.
Please note: All applicants will be subject to thorough employment checks and must have an Enhanced Child Only DBS on the Update Service certificate in place. Candidates without an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service will need to apply for a new certificate through Tradewind Recruitment. Payable by the candidate and refunded by us after working for 20 days! Candidates must register with the EWC (Education Workforce Council) to work in education in Wales. Registration fee payable by the candidate.
