We are offering an exciting opportunity working within a local college to support young adults with learning disabilities, enabling them to live life their own way.

As a Learning Disability Support Worker, you must:

  • Be over the age of 18 to apply
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Be a UK resident, we are unable to offer sp0ns0rship.
  • Have a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, unless you are local to the area
  • Have 6 months prior experience in a UK healthcare setting
  • Have experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities
  • Have excellent communication skills and a basic knowledge of the sector
  • Be able to build a strong rapport with service users who have varying needs and abilities
  • Have a genuine passion working in the healthcare sector

The duties of a Learning Disability Support Worker include assisting with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation and medication management, promoting independence and a sense of well-being among students.
