Embedded Software Engineer - Wrexham - Permanent - Excellent Salary plus benefits

What You Will Do:

  • Design and develop transmission software in embedded C.
  • Interpret functional requirements to produce high-level and low-level software design artifacts.
  • Adhere to a structured software development process based around the V model.
  • Generate V&V tests and automated validation test scripts in Python or VTest Studio.
  • Debug and fault-find issues at both hardware and software levels.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team to contribute to innovative transmission solutions.

 What You Will Bring:

  • Degree in Software Engineering, or a STEM qualification with relevant experience; HND/C considered.
  • Proven experience in an embedded systems environment, with a strong background in C or C++ programming.
  • Demonstrable experience in writing applications for control systems.
  • Familiarity with structured software development processes and SCM tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, with any experience in Vector tools (Canalyzer, Canoe, Canape) or the Atlassian tool suite being beneficial.
