We have an amazing opportunity for you to become a Personal Assistant to a student beginning theiruniversity journey studying Games Design at Glyndwr University in Wrexham.
Salary, Benefits & Hours:
Start Date: 3rd November
Rota: 7 days on / 7 days off
Rate of Pay: £170 per day / £1,190 per week worked
Location: Glyndwr University, Wrexham, Wales.
Free accommodation when on shift.
5.6 weeks holiday pro rata.
About Our Client:
Our client has Cerebral Palsy and are a full-time electric wheel chair user. They are looking for a PAto assist with daily tasks such as shopping, cooking, cleaning, taking medication routinely and tosupport when the client is wanting to go out and about. They do not want to be made of fuss of andare looking for a PA they can call a friend. Overall, our client is an adventurous, animal lover that isexcited at starting their new independent life at Wrexham.
You will provide our clients with health and social care. This is also a "flatmate" type of role whichgoes far beyond simply care work, and includes all the fun things you'd expect from life, like gettingout and about to see friends, going to parties, going on holiday after graduation and much more!
Care experience is not required as full training in our client's particular requirementswill be provided.
Duties will include
Personal care, and social support;Work with the team to ensure information and issues arising during your shift are correctlyreported and followed up;Assist the student with administration tasks as required;
Assist in emergency evacuations in halls, if the situation arises, as instructed by the hallsmanager;Encourage the student to engage in clubs/activities and societies;Maintain good order, appearance and behaviour.Assist the student with the organisation of events and extra-curricular activities.
About You:
For this role, we are looking for a person with a good sense of humour, who is physically fit, calm,patient and caring. Additionally, they will:
- Possess great organisational skills and the ability to work on their own initiative- Be punctual- Have a mature and responsible attitude- Have great communication skills- Be fluent in English.- To be clean and tidy in both your appearance and ways.- Maturity, responsibility and ability to take instructions are necessary- A full clean UK driving licence (Desirable)
