The role:
Our client, a leading manufacturer of specialised products, is looking to recruit an Engineering Technician working in a clean room environment.

Main Duties of the Engineering Technician:

  • Conduct daily maintenance on washing, filling, and sealing machines, ensuring compliance with cGMP.
  • Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure reliability of washing, filling, and sealing machines.
  • Proactively manage production lines to maximise efficiency and reduce setup and changeover times.
  • Continuously suggest and implement improvements to processes, equipment, safety, and overall efficiency.



The ideal Engineering Technician will have the following skills and abilities:

  • Hold a formal apprenticeship in Mechanical or Mechanical/Electrical for base skills purpose.
  • NVQ level 3, ONC/HNC or equivalent's (for the theoretical side of maintenance)
  • Ideally a few years' experience in Pharmaceutical, food or Chemical industry would be an advantage, but other industries are of interest as well.
