Circa 26,000 (depending on skills and abilities)
Permanent opportunity in Wrexham
Working hours: 8am - 4:30pm Monday to Thurs and 8am - 2:30pm Friday.

The Role:
Engineering Administrator required for a global manufacturer whose duties will include coordinating projects, maintaining documentation and managing administrative tasks within an engineering team.
Responsibilities:
Administrative Support: Provide daily administrative assistance to the engineering team, including processing changes, updating procedures, and managing complex engineering documentation. Responsibilities also encompass scheduling meetings, coordinating calendars, and preparing detailed reports.
Documentation Management: Ensure all technical and project documentation is current, accurate, and easily accessible to the team.
Project Coordination: Support project management efforts by monitoring timelines, deliverables, and milestones, ensuring all deadlines are consistently met.
Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between the engineering team and other departments, facilitating clear and effective communication.
Data Entry: Accurately input and maintain data within engineering systems or databases to ensure integrity and consistency.
Compliance: Oversee administrative processes to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards, including managing and processing approved signatories in alignment with organizational guidelines.
Procurement: Assist with procurement activities by managing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
The Candidate:
The successful Engineering Administrator will have the following skills and abilities:
- Proven experience in an administrative or support role, ideally within an engineering or technical environment.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
- Knowledge of engineering terminology or technical documentation would be an advantage.
