TIG Welder

Contek Recruitment are currently working exclusively with a precision engineering company, who specialise in the manufacture of precision parts and components for the Scientific and Semiconductor industries, to ultra-high vacuum standards.

Due to company growth, they are now looking for a TIGWelder/Fabricatorto join the team on afull-time,permanentbasis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

TIG Welding: You will be required to TIG weld a variety of aluminium and stainless steel products, to ultra high vacuum standards.

Fabrication:The fabrication side of this role isn't too complicated, it primarily involves pipe/tube bending of 8mm copper tubings, along with some other general fabrication duties.

Progression:Working with and learning from an experienced Welder, who is due to retire within the next couple of years, to get up to speed with the type of work involved, and also to ensure all work can be completed up toultra high vacuum standards.

Working Hours:Monday to Friday (40 hours per week) - Flexible

Overtime:There is continuous overtime available. Overtime is paid at time and a quarter (Monday to Friday) and time and a half (Saturday)
