P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our client, who is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join their team based in Wymondham on a full or part time, permanent basis.
This role can be full or part time depending on the candidate.
Main Responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining great relationships with clients, helping them run a slick finance operation and answering their queries day-to-day.
- Keeping the client's accounts up to date, so they always know how their business is performing and can make key decisions.
- Processing management journals, such as prepayments, depreciation and accrued/deferred income.
- Experience in running monthly reports and preparing Management Accounts.
- Experience completing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and monthly management reports is essential.
- Good VAT knowledge, including preparing monthly VAT returns and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Good payroll knowledge, processing of weekly and monthly payroll in additional to monthly CIS Returns.
- Using cloud-based software such as Xero, as well as packages such as Microsoft Excel.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A high level of bookkeeping knowledge and expertise.
- Knowledge of Xero (desirable).
- An understanding of other Xero apps.
- Proven experience, either in an accountancy practice or in industry.
- An AAT/CIMA qualification (desirable).
- A positive collaborative team working approach.
- Great organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a changing workload.
Working Hours & Benefits:
- Monday - Friday, 8:30 - 17:00.
- This role can be part time and hours can be flexible.
