We are supporting a leading installer of Fire Suppression Systems in their search for an additional Field Service Engineer. This is a very successful, independant, business with long standing contracts and organic growth through the years. This role will mainly cover East Anglia and the South. There is daily travel as required with a maximum of 3 nights away a week. Company Van and credit card provided.
To be successful in this role you will have a good grounding in mechanical engineering with some knowledge of electrical. It is preferred for candidates to have completed a recognised apprenticeship with level 3 qualification. Full training on their products will be given.

Core duties include, but not limited to:
  • Maintenance Visit Planning - On receipt of assigned work schedule ensuring that all necessary equipment and service kits to conduct the assigned work is on works van and for liaising with the office for additional supplies where necessary
  • Maintenance Work - Performing all maintenance and repair work thoroughly, in a safe manner, and in accordance with all laid down service instructions. Ensuring system items removed from customer premises are labelled as necessary to identify the part and issue, and returned to the office
  • Equipment - Ensuring that all work equipment is maintained, including Ladder checks and tags, PAT testing, Calibrations, and associated pre-use checks
  • Quality, Health, Safety, Welfare and the Environment (QHSE) - Observe all company QHSE policies, procedures and other instructions and ensure all concerns observed or reported are submitted to the QHSE Compliance department. Notify the office without delay of any incidents, near misses or H&S concerns
