Our client is recruiting for a Yard Assistant / Delivery Driver

This role is to start ASAP and is for a few weeks however could be extended.

39 hours per week, 8am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday and 8am to 4pm Friday (1 hour unpaid lunch break), overtime should it be available and offered.

Duties & Responsibilities:    

  • Collect and deliver parts and machinery as required to a range of customers
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and safe vehicle
  • Liaise with customers as well as internal departments
  • Positively promote the Company image and its products
  • General support in the yard
  • Keep the yard to a safe and clean standard
  • Comply with company policies
  • Dealing with customers on a day-to-day basis, both face to face and over the phone

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Full driving license is required
  • A team player – capable of working alone or with other team staff
  • Able to use your own initiative
  • Self-motivated
