Forklift Drivers

Gap personnel are recruiting for Forklift drivers to work in the Warehouse & Dispatch department for established company specialising in providing high-quality letter-based communications to their clients and they take pride in efficient and reliable service, we have open vacancies for drivers on Day shift or Night shift to join the team on a Temporary to Permanent position and contribute to their success.

Comprehensive training and onboarding program.

Night Shift: 19:00PM – 07:00AM Week 1 : Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday

Pay Rate: £14.59p/h.

Day Shift: 0700AM – 19:00PM Week 1 : Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday

Pay Rate: £13.16p/h.

Warehouse key Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift to move, stack, and organize materials within the warehouse.
• Load and unload delivery trucks.
• Ensure accurate and timely order fulfilment.
• Use warehouse-based computer systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Perform inventory checks and stock control duties as required.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.

Dispatch key Responsibilities:

• Receive, store, and issue inventory items according to established procedures.
• Operate forklifts to move and stack materials safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Conduct inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods.
• Follow all safety regulations and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with other warehouse staff and management.

Requirements:

• Valid forklift license.
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Ability to be flexible with shift patterns indicated.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
• Good communication skills.
