I am delighted to say I have been asked to support a rapidly expanding technology business in Norfolk as they have given me the exciting challenge to find them a Software Test Manager who will spearhead their QA and testing initiatives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

This pivotal role involves orchestrating the entire testing process across diverse platforms, ensuring they deliver peak performance and exceptional user experiences. As our organisation expands, you will have the opportunity to shape and lead a talented team of testers, craft cutting-edge testing strategies, and deploy sophisticated automation frameworks to drive efficiency and elevate product quality.

Day-to-day duties of the Test Manager include:

• Test Strategy & Leadership: Craft and execute a streamlined testing strategy for platforms, mobile apps, and web applications, ensuring all systems surpass quality benchmarks.
• Team & Process Management: Inspire and cultivate a team of dedicated software testers, setting clear goals and fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Automation & Performance Testing: Develop robust automation frameworks and innovate with new tools to enhance test coverage and streamline testing processes.
• Test Execution & Defect Management: Manage the planning and execution of tests, swiftly resolving any issues to maintain high-quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications of the Test Manager are:

• Proven track record in software testing with a leadership background.
• Mastery of test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Java, JavaScript, Typescript, Python) for test automation.
• Proficient with performance testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, and LoadRunner.
• Deep understanding of API testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities, leadership prowess, and excellent communication skills.
